As part of our commitment to developing the energy solutions of the future, Doosan Babcock has invested in a world-leading Research and Development facility, located at our headquarters in Renfrew.

The Research and Development Centre is growing to accommodate around 200 multi-disciplinary research specialists and is home to a wide range of test facilities and specialised equipment.

Currently our research and development is focussing on areas including:
Environmental Improvement Technologies;
Advanced Boiler Development;
Materials and Fuels;
Software and Development; and
Asset Management

You will have the opportunity to work with our research and specialist services teams on ground breaking new energy technologies.

Launching your career on our industry recognised graduate programme will not only provide you with an overview of our business but by completing your individual two year placement programme you will also develop the knowledge, skills and competencies in your own field of expertise, while gaining an insight into other disciplines and building a commercial awareness.

Based in Renfrew, there will be a requirement for travel across the UK during your two year placement programme; there is also the opportunity for you to be involved in an overseas project. On successful completion of the graduate training programme travel will be job dependant.

We are interested also in in receiving applications from you if you are studying towards, or have recently gained, a PhD or other Higher Degree in a research field that relates to our interests.
