Great family seeking "Big Brother" for their son

Hi! We are an Auckland based professional couple with a 10 year old son called Cameron. My wife currently works abroad and I work in a corporate environment. We live in a nice house in Albany outside of Auckland and are looking for an older brother for our son. We have had Au Pairs previously and from our experience it seems easier for us (and for Cameron) to adapt to having a male Au Pair. Therefore we are primarily looking for a male au pair - but a female with a lot of experience with boys is just as good! We are looking for someone who has previous experience with children, who is caring and responsible while keeping a playful mind! We would like someone that can actually connect with Cameron rather than just keeping him busy and looking at it like a job. It would be great if you were interested in some sports and other activities that young boys like (computers e t c)! We would love for you to be a role model for Cameron and teach him new things! We do need some help with light house work (like all Au Pairs do). Primarily helping Cameron keep his room tidy, helping us keep the kitchen and lounge area tidy etc (just general help around the house like another family member). We would like you to ideally have a driver's license, both for our benefit and for yours! We need someone that can actually commit to New Zealand & our family for 12 months! We would love and encourage you to explore the country while you are here while learning about our cultures and values! New Zealand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world - don't miss it! We would ideally like someone as soon as possible as our current Au Pairs is leaving shortly.
