Ground Operation Manager

With up to 23 departures per day, TT-Line links the largest German Baltic ports, Travemünde and Rostock, and the Polish Swinoujscie with the southern Swedish transport hub of Trelleborg, the most important ferry port in Sweden. TT-Line currently employs approximately 600 people on board and in its land based offices in Travemünde, Rostock, Trelleborg and Swinoujscie.

We are looking for the

Ground Operation Manager (f/m)

for our Terminal in Trelleborg.



Job Specification:

- responsible for the whole Terminal operation as well as the Check-In (Freight/Pax)
- responsible for a team of up to 12 employees
- traffic handling and scheduling
- safeguarding quality, reliability and sustainability of the service
- responsible that rules, instructions and guidelines are followed
- operational Link between harbor and company
- coordination and responsibility for projects
- reporting directly to the management

Expected skills:

- several years of professional experience in ground operation ideally in shipping company or in harbor logistics
- proven managerial and leadership skills
- flexible and proactive
- in-depth knowledge of the IT standard software (Windows, Word, Excel)
- economic / commercial skills
- very good knowledge of the English language
