GROUP ACCOUNTING MANAGER

COMPANY PRESENTATION The Thule Group is the world leader within Sports Utility Transportation.The product portfolio comprises load carriers for cars such as rooftop boxes, roof rails and bike carriers.Additionally, the Group offers snow chains, trailers, towing systems as well as accessories for motor homes and caravans.Thule has approx.Pro forma sales amount to about SEK 5,2 billion.Thule AB is based in Malmö, Sweden.Majority owner is the UK-based, private equity company Candover.As the Group Accounting Manager you will be responsible for providing qualitative financial reports, such as half year and annual reports, that fulfil the requirements by the Thule Board of Directors as well as by the auditors, shareholders and law.Work description: Amongst the main tasks as the Group Accounting Manager are: 1.Secure that Thule Group's reporting system is fully updated with actual information to produce half year and annual reports, likewise that the legal structure is accurate.2.Process and produce the half year and annual reports.3.Conduct acquisition analysis when Thule is acquiring new companies.4.Allocation of costs in connection with acquisitions.5.Maintain and update Thule's reporting manual with the actual accounting rules according to IFRS.6.Yearly assessment and update of pension plans and other allowances to the employees of the Thule Group in accordance to IFRS. Profile You have an Academic degree in Business Administration with depth experience from auditing, especially for middle to big sized companies.Furthermore you have well documented knowledge about IFRS and experience from an environment of publicly listed companies.It is important that you are a person with self-motivation and drive, with a keen interest to contribute at the highest standards.We like people with a sense of humour and high degree of interpersonal skills.Since our official language is English it is acquired that you have excellent English skills and is a good communicator.Other languages are a major advantage.
