The job
In this position, you’re a committed and coaching leader for your team, as well as a key resource in driving vital change initiatives within your area of responsibility – for instance, you’re a central part in evaluating and implementing a new group reporting system. You ensure that the monthly closing of the books is completed with high quality, and that our general accounting is managed in accordance with accounting principles, and in line with all relevant regulations, laws and standards. You also secure compliance and high quality of IFRS reporting, as well as with our internal guidelines, processes and regulations in the general accounting area.
You deliver interim and annual reports to our stakeholders and take part in communication with external auditors. As Group Accounting Manager, you also provide support for reporting subsidiaries within the Sandvik Group and share your knowledge in acquisition and divestment processes.
In this position, you’re located at our headquarters at World Trade Center in Stockholm, and you report to the Head of Group Reporting and Consolidation.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Finance, combined with extensive experience from a similar management role in a global organization. You’ve managed global financial processes and internal control, and you’re well-versed in IFRS and driving change projects in a larger context, where experience of a system change would be beneficial.
