Group Data Privacy Business Partner

Arbetsbeskrivning

The complexity of multiple markets, laws and regulations is an everyday challenge for us. Evaluating, managing and balancing risks against potential profits requires accuracy and strong integrity. Within Sandvik, we consider compliance extremely important and we actively work to secure that we do business in a compliant manner throughout the entire organization – always!
With the launch of our new Group Compliance strategy “Compliance. Simplified” and to advance our compliance program to the next level, we’re now looking for a Group Data Privacy Business Partner to act as a liaison with our Group functions for operational support and with the wider organization for technical support. This is a chance to become part of an exciting journey within our global and diverse team where we’re aligning our vision with the new Sandvik strategy and purpose – setting the standards for tomorrow, today.
Your mission
In this position, you’re responsible for supporting the implementation of the Group Data Privacy Program requirements, best practices and recommendations into the daily operations of our Group functions. You support the organization hands-on in different projects and processes to maintain and implement Sandvik operational data privacy requirements. This is done with the aim of enabling a proactive approach and resolving compliance issues in a timely manner. You assist the Group Privacy Officer in carrying out organizational-wide data privacy projects by acting as the right-hand person.
You’re also responsible for supporting Sandvik compliance and other teams with functionality and configuration support in the One Trust data privacy solution used by Sandvik. This internal support requires close cooperation with One Trust technical support engineers to implement advised knowledge and best practices in the application. You’re the liaison between One Trust tech support and internal Sandvik users, and you lead configuration projects to scale and evolve the solution, aiming to fit the privacy needs of the entire organization.
This position is located in Stockholm, Sweden.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with at least two years’ experience from working in a business function, such as HR, IT, Purchasing, Internal Audit, Marketing or Communication. You have experience from – and a genuine interest in – working with GDPR issues and you’re truly comfortable working with IT solutions. You’re enthusiastic about working with multiple business operations and functions, something that requires a high level of integrity, skills in stakeholder management and the will to constantly take in and process new information. Since we act on a truly global stage, you’re skilled in both written and verbal English, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
With a strong work ethic and organizational skills, you prioritize your work and know where your focus needs to be. You’re self-motivated and result-oriented and manage a challenging workload by staying organized, employing good project management skills and keeping the bigger picture in mind. Furthermore, your passion for working with different cultures in an international and dynamic workforce truly comes in handy in this position.
