Purpose of the role
As a Group Finance Director you will play a key role in the global organization as your responsibility is to ensure that the finance processes run effectively and efficiently. The role involves team leadership of 7 employees based at the headquarters in Mölndal, Sweden. The main goal includes compiling and delivering timely and reliable financial data for internal and external financial reporting purposes, and your team will drive selected process improvement initiatives.

Your role

• Managing the group finance team of 7 employees
• Responsible for the group consolidation and reporting process at Qmatic, ensuring that monthly closings are performed timely and with high quality.
• Collaborate with business controllers and business leaders on policies, chart of accounts, analytics and reporting tools
• Ensuring all processes and instructions are up to date and published and that all relevant finance employees are trained in group reporting requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and lead external financial audit deliverables
• Credit control and management, in collaboration with the sales organization
• Oversee tax and treasury questions
• Prepare and lead the delivery of monthly reports to the board and the bank
• Participate or contribute with resources in important business and continuous improvement projects

Your profile
We are looking for someone who is driven with a positive and can-do mindset. You like working in a changing and sometimes ambiguous environment where you are adaptable, stable and structured. You pay attention to detail and like to tie up loose ends. You also have integrity and want to work in a value-based environment.

Your background

• Degree in Business Administration/finance
• Minimum 10 years' experience, preferably in an international environment
• Experience from a senior group accounting position or equivalent from audit/public accounting with good knowledge of IFRS and Swedish accounting principles.
• Solid people management experience
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing across organizations and managing senior stakeholders and external auditors
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities
• Solid analytical skills with ability to recommend decisions based on data and facts
• Highly IT literate. Good knowledge of group reporting tools and consolidation software.
• Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to communicate fluently in English and Swedish, both spoken and written

Location
