In this assignment, together with the Group Governance Team and colleagues across the business, you will have an important role in the establishment of an effective governance and decision making across Ingka Group for the benefit of our business and customers.
To be successful, you are passionate about creating an Ingka fit for the future and you get energized by contributing to overall success and results through working together and finding new ways through co-creation with colleagues across Ingka Group. You possess strong stakeholder management and negotiating skills as well as the ability to communicate effectively, on strategic and operational level. You have strong analytical skills and are able to achieve long-term business objectives.
You have a relevant university degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of governance and business steering. You have very good competence in one or several areas such as governance, business steering/ navigation/ controlling, internal audit, compliance and/or legal. You have experience from different businesses and global organisations for minimum 5 years. Experience from transformation projects or other complex change and implementation projects is a benefit.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Group Governance Leader, you will be responsible for a part of the Group Governance scope to facilitate the development, clarification and establishment of a business driven, value based & effective governance and decision-making within Ingka Group.
More specific, you will:
• Lead towards realising the establishment of a value based and business driven Group Governance and Decision Making based on the direction set for Ingka Group
• Contribute to building a strong mind-set where decisions are taken close to our values and entrepreneurial spirit meaning we dare to make decisions, respect decisions made and learn from our mistakes.
• Lead alignment and coordination of Ingka Group Governance design and development activities to secure a long term business impact and a strong customer focus.
• Lead development of principles for good governance, frameworks, processes and methodologies and act as an expert and coach to ensure that these are applied across Ingka Group.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to identify, advise and prioritise continuous improvement opportunities.
• Provide expertise, train and coach key stakeholders and the business leaders to apply the Group Governance principles, processes & frameworks to secure that good governance is applied.
• Keep a good level of awareness and knowledge of internal needs and requirements as well as latest best practices and external obligations in the area of governance and decision making to secure good quality and further development.
ABOUT THIS WORK AREA
The Group Governance team is part of the Group Function Legal & Governance which leads and supports the legal & governance topics across Ingka Group. As Group Governance Leader you will report to Group Governance Manager.
