Group Legal Counsel – Intellectual Property

We are looking for an enthusiastic Intellectual Property lawyer to join our IP Legal department as part of Electrolux’s Group Legal Affairs function. You will provide IP-related legal support for Electrolux’s activities around the globe and report to Electrolux’s Head of IP Legal.

IP Legal has a core role in the development, use and protection of intellectual property rights for the Electrolux Group. The team strives to be true business partners and they work closely with all parts of the Electrolux organization that develops, uses and protects the Group’s intellectual property across the world. By understanding the operations and business drivers, IP Legal takes an active part in achieving the business objectives. It is a global function with a specialist role that sees intellectual property as an important tool to enhance shareholder value.

Role & Responsibilities
You will become part of our team of IP specialists, providing IP-related legal advice and support for Electrolux’s business functions. In your role, you will..
· Provide business-focused and strategic IP advice related to commercial projects and disputes
· Draft, negotiate and advise on agreements, including development, licence, settlement and confidentiality agreements
· Provide legal advice in relation to marketing campaigns
· Identify improvements to the strategy, processes, procedures and guidelines relevant to the provision of IP legal advice to the Electrolux business, and implement them independently or as part of a team
· Prepare and provide relevant training and knowledge sharing on the legal aspects of these activities to the business and other members of the Legal Affairs team
· Part of your role can also be to support IP aspects of M&A
· You may occasionally also support complex intellectual property litigation, as part of a team of IP experts

Qualifications:
· You are an intellectual property lawyer, or a commercial lawyer with IP experience
· You have at least 3 years of relevant experience with a solid law-firm background
· Ideally, you have experience from a multi-national company, working towards multi-functional teams
· You have proven experience in giving fast and efficient business-minded legal support, as well as drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
· Experience with IT-legal matters is an advantage
· You have a law degree
· You are fluent in English, at a professional level
The role involves some travel, so you are flexible to travel when required
