Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions. At Purchasing, we are supporting this journey by making sure we are continuously working with suppliers that are best in class in their field including technology, quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability for our future products.

We are now looking for a new manager for our Purchasing Administration Team, responsible for the area of Administration and System Support within Purchasing (SNH). You will also be a member of Purchasing Business development management team.

Main tasks
You will be responsible to drive and coordinate the support within purchasing organisation, the entire Scania in some areas as well part of the supplier support. You will manage a team of 12 highly supportive administrators.  

Team responsibilities include administrative support to the entire purchasing organisation, in some areas the entire Scania, suppliers and TRATON.  The tasks differ in three main areas within SNH, the team supports the organization to give the best possible quality regarding administrative support of i.e. ordering of software and other equipment, accesses to systems and support.

Your profile
You are probably a target oriented team player that can balance individual target achievement with an holistic approach. You strive to work proactive but are able to stand strong and remain calm also in stressful situations. You are organized, proactive, flexible, a people person who likes to take initiatives, are able to handle multiple open cases and possess proven leadership skills.

Previous experience within the manager role is required. As your work includes a lot of interactions at different levels both internally and externally, it is important you have the ability to collaborate and build trust and are clear in your communication with others. You should have high integrity, good judgment and work according the Scania leadership principles. You have good knowledge of Swedish and speak and write fluent in English.
