ADS Practice for Customer Service and Warranty is a department within VC IT that is responsible for providing IT service to the Warranty and Customer
Service Department. We are responsible for a portfolio of applications that handle claims, warranty analysis and applications needed in the workshop to
service the car.
Customer Service is the unit within Volvo Car Corporation responsible for the development & delivery of world class and innovative Products, Services & Processes for the global Volvo Aftermarket business.
Job Description:
This job Posting is for Group Manager (including ITAM) within in VC IT ADS for Applications that support the Customer Service Area.
Manages the application portfolio includes aspects of: release management, change control, supporting lifecycle, workload management, consumption management and capacity demand management
Manages IT tactical planning and production support
Champions projects within Application Portfolio
Ensure:
- compliance with VC IT architectural standards within group
- that appropriate security and controls are instituded within group
- appropriate use of VC IT processes tools and methodologies within group
Responsible for:
- ongoing communication with business and IT partners
- resource management of group
- service level management for assigned application portfolio
Drives implementation of corporate/IT initiatives within group
Leads a team(s) in the delivery or operation of one or more applications and/or technologies in support of the evolving business/IT environment
Builds and maintains strong relationships with senior level business partners
Conduct meetings with employees, IT partners and business partners as needed
Interacts with vendors, external organizations, and/or external business consultants
Personnel responsibility including salary revisions and appraisal talk
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of progressive responsibilities within IT
Hands on and multiple roles across the spectrum of the life cycle of
applications and/or technologies
Academic degree
Business/System analysis skills
Fluency in written and oral English
Supplier/agency management experience
High level of business knowledge within the Customer Service division
Experience in leading development and implementation of IT projects and strategies
