Group Manager Workshop Applications – Service Engineering

As Group Manager Workshop Applications you will report directly to the Director Service Engineering.

The position is a new and exciting role which provides ample opportunity to work with system related topics with close connection to the markets. You will play a key role to achieve the attributes good serviceability and competitive service cost of ownership, with a huge impact on customer satisfaction.

You will build a team that will develop and secure aftersales related systems and workshop applications. The work is conducted in close cooperation with CEVT R&D, Volvo Cars and IT-suppliers.

You will be part of an agile and growing global team and you will be able to participate in further shaping the service engineering function. Entrepreneurial with strong analytical and structure skills is taken for granted in this position.

The position is based in Gothenburg but with a Global responsibility. The position will require travel on regular basis.

Responsibilities and tasks

Manage and deliver Workshop Applications with a global perspective:

- System Requirement setting for all vehicle projects developed by CEVT R&D
- Fault tracing and diagnostic information
- Vehicle service planning
- Soft offer related system development
- Set the strategy, targets and develop efficient system related processes and ways of working

Requirements

- Good interpersonal skills and ability to encourage and manage employees with a multicultural background
- Driven, communicative and structured with a customer and business mindset
- Analytical and able to see problems as challenges and look for solutions
- Minimum 10 years of experience from leading system development projects as well as line functions.
- Experience from remote functionality, connected vehicles combined with a good understanding of workshop/back office needs.
- M.Sc. or several years of relevant experience
- Ability to travel Excellent English, written and spoken
- Enjoy working in a fast paced changing environment
