Hardware and Power Electronics Engineer

To our customer in Gothenburg we are looking for a Hardware and Power Electronics Engineer with focus on powertrain control development.
The customer will increase the scope of the ECU´s from hybrid engine control to cover fully electric powertrains with functions such as Electrical drive units, inverters, and transmissions.
We are looking for a development engineer who is responsible for understanding customers requirement, specially within Power Electronics and Electrified applications, find efficient solutions together with suppliers and co-workers and design solutions.
What will you do?
As a Hardware and Power Electronics Engineer, you will lead and coordinate the development of ECUs and inverters in different phases of the project. You will be part of an agile development team consisting of Hardware and Software engineers and work tightly with your Hardware colleagues on a daily basis.
You will be the single point of contact towards the supplier for the product you have responsibility for and need to secure the technology, cost and timing to meet the project targets. You need to have technical insight in the requirements and the construction of the area you work in to be able to have constructive dialogues both with the customer and the supplier.
Your profile:
Experience in power electronics
Background from designing/defining hardware architecture, principles and patterns of embedded systems
Experience in similar roles
Meritorious with experience in cable harness development.

This is a fulltime consultancy position in Gothenburg, Sweden.
