Reference number: 418 The Electronics & Mechanics Team is responsible for the design and development of the hardware in Axis products, including electronics, PCB CAD and mechanical CAD.The team is also responsible for the regulatory approvals (such as EMC and Safety) of our products. We now have an open position for a hardware engineer to work with electronics design.As a member of our team you will work in projects together with other departments within the R&D organization. You will: - be responsible for the design, documentation, implementation and test of the hardware in the project.- have contacts with component distributors, as well as subcontractors and manufacturers.- also work in close contact with Operations, assisting in production start-up, product maintenance and manufacturing optimization. You may also be involved with hardware verification, early prototyping and investigations or assistance in customer cases. For this position we believe that you should have/be: - a degree in electrical engineering (120 points or more) - a few years work experience - experience of schematic capture program, preferably PADS Logic - knowledge in EMC and appropriate standards - a keen interest in electronics - an overall technical interest - good communication skills and an ability to work independently - fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish Questions about this position?
