Role description
As Head of Accounting you will lead and manage the Accounting department of E.ON Nordics. You will lead a team of 12 accounting business partners and accounting specialists and be responsible for the accounting for E.ON in the Nordic’s region. The clear mission is to secure financial compliance in the quarterly and yearly reporting to the E.ON SE group. Further on you are responsible for the service agreement, relationship, and contract with our shared services center in Cluj, Romania. You support the team in being partners to the business in a developing and changing environment to enable the energy transition.

Who are we looking for?
We believe that you are a people driven manager with proven track record of creating a caring culture and leading and developing high performing teams. You can easily build strong relationships and reflect on people’s behavior. To be successful in the role we believe that you have a master’s in accounting, finance, business administration or economics and experience of leading an accounting department in a large international company. You will be a part of a team that is driving the energy transition with passion, and we hope that you share this passion with us!

You will report to David Harbeke who is Head of Finance. His leadership is characterized by openness and trust, and he is an advocate of transparency. It's important for David that you are driven by working independently given high responsibilities and freedom to act, that's easy for you to prioritize and that you have a collaborative mindset.
