The complexity of multiple markets, laws and regulations is an everyday challenge for us, and evaluating and managing risks and balancing them against potential profits requires accuracy and strong integrity. Within Sandvik, we consider compliance extremely important, and actively work to secure that we do business in a compliant manner throughout the entire Sandvik organization – always!

Active benchmarking and best practice sharing, staying on top of regulatory trends, as well as further developing oversight are also important.

Let’s talk about your mission
In this position, you lead our work with regard to compliance, including our four compliance programs that are currently setup within the Sandvik Group - Data Privacy, Competition Law, Trade Compliance and Anti-Bribery & Corruption - and you work closely with the team that manages our whistleblowing process. You may also be the expert competency (Subject Matter Expert) for one or more of four programs. The Head of Compliance role has grown with the regulatory developments and the Sandvik organization over the years, and we expect this to continue to evolve over time.

Additionally, you chair the Compliance Functional Council that sets the direction and strategy for the four Compliance programs and the Compliance function. You keep close interactions with the Audit Committee as you report on compliance matters as well as the assurance functions Governance, Risk Management, Internal Audit and Internal Controls. In all of your work, you rely on strong networks and great collaborations, and you empower people to find efficient solutions, look at new perspectives and share best practices.

As Head of Compliance, you report to the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Sandvik Group and you are a valued member of our Group Legal Management team.
