Today we deliver to different automotive brands in the Geely family such as Geely Auto, Volvo Cars, and Lynk & Co and are based at Lindholmen in Gothenburg.

The Computing Architecture team is responsible for the on-board electrical architecture, enabling feature development for both fleet customers and vehicle users. Our work effort has low visibility to external customers but is highly noticeable when issues arise. We are always in the core of software and functional issue root cause analyses and in many cases issue resolution. Keeping our electrical architectures from diverging between different brands and top hats, while at the same time being relevant for future functionality, is a challenge that we are skilfully continuously managing.

As Head of Computing Architecture, you are responsible to develop the Computing Architecture team and the individuals therein, to secure all related project deliveries and manage the finances of the team. You are expected to have an outlook into future technology trends and development and develop tactics and strategies for next level of electrical architectures. You are also expected to build relations both with internal stakeholders and key cooperation partners within Geely Group.

Responsibilities and Deliveries

- Lead and develop the Computing Architecture team
- Secure project deliveries on time with correct quality, cost and efficiency
- Identify, build, and develop critical competences to fulfil future expectations
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, external suppliers/partners and Geely/Zeekr China colleagues
- Manage continuous improvements on tools and methods to secure efficiency and technical leadership


Suitable background and Experience

- Minimum M.Sc. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Long-time experience (minimum 10 years) of onboard electrical architectures and deep understanding of service-oriented software architecture
- Knowledge about industry trends and applicability of new technologies
- Good overall engineering understanding
- Documented and successful managerial experience with excellent ability to lead change and to lead in change
- Excellent ability to motivate and convince people with strong cultural sensitivity, especially Asian - European culture
- Courage in leading with trust and care, and drive for results in an ever-changing environment
- Efficient and excellent planning skills. Fluent in English. Swedish driving license B for passenger cars
