Head of Controlling for a global company

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Head of Controlling to join their Controlling organization in Stockholm.

The purpose of this role as Head Controlling is to ensure the transparency of the company’s financials based on the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecast as well as the analysis of actual data. Given the organizational structure of the company and the surrounding divisional set up, R&D controlling is a focus topic.

• Responsibility for the preparation resp. coordination of the Budgeting and Forecasting processes for the legal entity.
• Responsibility for R&D controlling at initially three sites.
• Business partner for the Head of R&D.
• Preparation, review and update of business cases in the context of Product Management / R&D projects as well as other projects, e.g. capex proposals.
• Responsibility for all other operational controlling.
• Leading a team of two regarding local controlling tasks, most notably budgeting/forecasting, reporting and cost center / functional controlling.


Vem är du?

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience of planning and reporting processes for multi-entity organizations.
• Experience of financial and managerial accounting.
• Good understanding of group consolidation.
• Experience in R&D or project controlling.
• University degree in Financial Management or comparable area.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Advantage with Swedish language skills.

As a person you need to have strong analytical skills, be process oriented, a team player with an autonomous work style and a great sense of accountability. Further more you have good communications and project management skills, a strong mentality and highly motivated.
