The mission of the central data & analytics (D&A Core) team is to Transform the data ecosystem to empower our colleagues with trusted data, which supports the Volvo Data Vision of Powering innovation and every decision with trusted data.
To support this mission, D&A Core has 5 core areas: Strategy & Transformation, Solution Partners, Platforms, Architecture, and Data Governance, working to provide what is required to enable data and analytics teams across the organization to deliver value from data, whilst promoting a culture of collaboration and data excellence.
The principle aim of the role is to own and develop the strategy for the cultural and organizational transformation required for Volvo Cars to realize its data vision, for D&A Core to achieve its mission, and contribute & drive the overarching business transformation.

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for delivering a step-change in the data culture at Volvo Cars through data literacy, data professional community development, process improvement, program and portfolio management, and back-office management of the D&A function.

This role also includes bringing thought and change leadership to inspire and bring people along the cultural change journey and equipping our company with the right skills and cultural framework to truly power innovation and every decision with trusted data.
Lastly, you will guide and coordinate a team of data culture & transformation specialists.

Who you are:

We believe that you have significant experience (10yrs +) in Data leadership and transformation experience. You also have extensive experience in handling data cultural change, including the rollout of data literacy programs and the implementation of new operating models. Data culture and transformation best practices are topics you have knowledge about as well as change leadership skills. 
You are an inspirational leader that can set an agenda and are good at getting others to follow your lead, with a proven ability to influence people, be self-driven, and with the ability to challenge the status quo. You are a good communicator, that can work with both data professionals as well as stakeholders and colleagues with fewer data knowledge.
The position is located in Gothenburg.
