HEAD OF MAINTENANCE TO TREE TO TEXTILE

Do you want to be part of our journey developing and industrializing a new, innovative man-made cellulosic fiber technology that will provide textile fibers with a sustainable performance? Come and join us at TreeToTextile! We are now entering an up-scaling phase and building a demo plant at Stora Enso’s Nymölla Mill, and we are looking to strengthening our team with a Head of Maintenance.

YOU WILL

The construction of demonstration plant at Stora Enso’s Nymölla Mill will start in spring 2021. The raw material used at the plant will primarily be dissolving pulp from Stora Enso’s Enocell Mill in Finland. The aim is to significantly reduce the environmental footprint of the textile industry and to make sustainable textile fibers available to all.

As Head of Maintenance you are responsible for the maintenance of all equipment associated with the manufacturing process, to ensure maximum efficiency, quality and output.  You will organize and develop the plant maintenance with internal and external stakeholders and plan, organize and implement mill maintenance shutdowns.

Daily work includes working with improvements regarding safety and to secure that rules and regulations are followed within the discipline. Within your role, you will train operators in uses of machinery, document repairs that haves been done and the needed preventive actions. You will also be reviewing technical proposals, approving the solutions from a maintenance perspective, work with troubleshooting, optimization and root cause problem elimination for process and equipment. Furthermore, planning and implementing small investment projects and to allocate resources effectively are also important parts of this position. Other parts are to prepare maintenance budget and obtaining any materials and equipment required.

YOU ARE

The position requires knowledge in planning and steering of technical maintenance operations. Knowledge of process industry is preferred. We are looking for you who has proven experience in developing people and processes, managing budgets and delivering performance improvements. We expect that you have a MS or BS in Engineering and maintenance background either mechanical, electrical or automation is highly meritorious. You are also fluent in English, written and spoken. Office program skills are essential and preferably some experience from automation and production systems.

We are looking for a strong individual with a can-do attitude that share our drive to bring sustainable materials to the wider market. As the Demo Plant is a new site, flexibility and a problem-solving mindset will be important. We believe that you have good critical analytical skills and use accurate data in your decision process, as you will be analyzing faults and providing solutions. Furthermore, you need to have a driving personality but also an ability to create and maintain good structure and accuracy. Your social skills and ability to interact with others are also important.
