Head of Organic User Acquisition

We’re looking for a head of organic user acquisition to execute on performance campaigns through organic media channels for our ecommerce platform focusing on increasing web traffic, revenue and driving a positive return on ad spend.
As a head of organic user acquisition at Fishbrain, you will be responsible for management of a team, SEO, content and outreach strategies that drive organic performance. You will be responsible for all aspects of organic user acquisition for our goals, which will require analysis, reporting and forecasting as needed. You will be required to report findings and optimizations to the Chief Performance Marketing Officer and wider Marketing team as necessary as well.
You will report directly to the Chief Performance Marketing Officer.

Responsibilities
Accountable for driving the organic to paid ratio of our user acquisition
Develop and execute successful SEO and ASO strategies
Conduct keyword research to guide content teams
Review technical SEO issues and recommend fixes
Optimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy
Run regular backlink audits and maintain a healthy link profile
Direct off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building, outreach)
Collect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects
Keep abreast of SEO and ASO trends
You will manage a team of two include an outreach specialist and content specialist



Requirements
3-5 years experience in SEO
Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices
Experience with SEO reporting
Familiarity with relevant SEO tools (Run regular backlink audits and maintain a healthy link profile)
Familiarity with web and app analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Search Console, App Store Connect and Play Console)
You are creative and data-driven, adept at delivering ideas, content, and metrics.
A self-starter who is able to take projects from strategy through execution with a high attention to detail.
Fluent in English.
