We are recruiting an experienced Head of Procurement who is passionate about managing a team across our organizations in Sweden and Switzerland. As the Head of Procurement, you will be the commercial responsible for procurement and contract management within the company. Responsibilities:
Lead and develop our procurement team
Be the prime commercial contact towards the suppliers within the company
Define and revaluate supplier strategies
Manage, negotiate, and develop supplier agreements and build strong relationships to secure the commitment to current and future programs
Visualize and develop supplier performance in line with established goals and requirements
Define and manage supplier risks
Consider and manage offset/industrial participation possibilities and requirements within procurement
Actively screen the supplier market and evaluate new potential suppliers and the competitiveness of the existing suppliers



Qualifications:
A degree in economics or engineering, ideally with a focus on purchasing/logistics or a comparable well-founded education
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully coach, lead and develop a team
Hands-on mentality
Ability to work independently as well as good team working ability and capacity to drive a working process forward
Ability to apply an overall perspective with a good commercial judgement
Knowledge about strategic procurement, purchasing- and project management as well as quality- and environmental systems and requirements
High capacity to acquire, apply and share knowledge
Management ability, aptitude for building networks and very good cooperation and communication skills
Desirable to have good knowledge about supplier markets, suppliers, products, customer requirements and business intelligence within aviation
Experience in implementing an ERP System would be advantageous
Experience in an EN9100 environment is beneficial
Very good command of English verbally and in writing. For a placement in Sweden, fluent skills in Swedish is requested.



Location / General:
You can be located either in Sweden or Switzerland but travels to the other site will occur frequently, approximately 25% of your working time.
