At Kambi, we’re designing and developing a Sportsbook that is used by millions of users through-out the world and we’re on an accelerating growth curve both in number of users, operators and markets served, but also in our pace of innovation.

The Head of Product Design will be responsible for growing, steering and coaching our design team consisting of Product Designers and User Researchers. Together with the team, you will ensure that our products are simple, consistent and delightful to use. Since Design is a core capability at Kambi, you will join the product management leadership team and report directly to the Chief Product Officer.

Design is high on the agenda at Kambi. Over the last years, a Design Thinking approach has been established across the organization. Most product initiatives now start with insights around our users and their needs, behaviors and problems. Kambi has also extended its Product Discovery process, meaning we are exploring both known and unknown user needs to drive innovation. Additionally, we are on a journey towards co-creating experiences with our operators, and are therefore extending our design system, both for design as well as front-end development. As the Head of Product Design, you will be highly involved in steering the mentioned initiatives and further elevating our way of working to make Kambi even more renowned for its products.

We are expecting you to:

• Be genuinely user driven and have experience in utilizing user insight to generate, explore and validate new ideas and innovations.
• Have experience with designing digital products, either from an agency or from an in-house department
• Have experience in leading teams, including responsibilities to hire, coach and to handle a team’s budget
• Have experience in defining simple and effective design processes and design systems
• Be comfortable within both arenas of digital product design; to know what makes a design attractive, as well as, usable
• Be passionate about driving change and cross-functional collaboration
• Have experience working with Agile methodologies and know how to fit Design Thinking into the process
• Enjoy facilitating workshops and presenting in front of executives from senior management
• Love complex product challenges, such as working with data rich experiences
