About Heart Aerospace

Heart’s mission is to create the fastest, most affordable and sustainable mode of transport for regional travel. Our goal is to serve the market in every corner of the world.

Our first aircraft is the ES-19, a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km. The ES-19 is a fully electric aircraft, and our goal is to have the aircraft certified for commercial operation by 2026.

Your place of work will be at our main office and hangar facility. This is located at Säve Airport in Gothenburg, Sweden. Relocation assistance can be provided. We seek experienced and skilled professionals to join our small, fast moving team developing a new electric aircraft in Sweden. We’re in a very expansive phase and now is the time to join our team.

Role Overview

Heart Aerospace is growing and are now looking for an experienced Head of Sales to join our team and be responsible for developing and leading our sales activities. To succeed in the role, we see that you have extensive experience within the aerospace industry, with the right mix of business and management expertise to develop and lead the sales team to be efficient, productive, and effective. The Head of Sales reports to our Chief Commercial Officer.

Your key responsibilities would include:

- Establish, develop, and directly oversee the functional teams responsible for aircraft sales and customer relationship management (CRM).
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure the sales activities contribute to meet Heart’s vision and goals.
- Establish and drive the sales strategy and plan.
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, partners, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years experience in a Sales leadership role within the aerospace industry.
- Proven sales experience within the aerospace industry.
- Excellent strategic and business planning skills.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.
- Eagerness to work with others.
- Passion for aircraft and Heart’s mission.

The ideal candidate would have

- Master’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- International business experience.
- Experience in a start-up company.
