HaloSep offers a unique and sustainable solution managing flue gas residues from waste-to-energy plants supporting a circular community. The invention originates from Stena Metall R&D in 2010 and was founded as a separate company 2020 to drive industrialization and commercialization of the HaloSep process. We are a scale-up company with a team of 15 people building for a more sustainable waste-to-energy industry! We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales and Commercial to accelerate the growth activities by identifying and executing on new commercial opportunities. You will lead and drive the early sales activities together with the President, Financial and Marketing Director and Engineering Director. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sales process and building bid-packs to identify new business, negotiate and agreeing contracts and for the handover of successful sales projects to the Project Director.

You will report to the President and will be a key member of the management team. This role currently has no direct reports but works in close cooperation with all functions and will lead the team in sales and commercial activities.

The position is based in Gothenburg and will include travelling, approx. 2-3 trips per month attending trade shows, visiting new and existing customers initially on the European market, holding presentations and seminars.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies
• Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed execution plans on commercial opportunities
• Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
• Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
• Negotiate and agree with customers on all contractual aspects
• Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
• Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
• Effectively communicate the HaloSep process and value proposition through proposals and presentations

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role you have proven experience of advanced technical sales in an international environment and previous experience from a growing business in a leadership role, preferably in the process or related industry. You have a commercial drive with experience in sales or maybe a technical background with a strong customer focus. You are driven by development and growth and leading others inspires you. Managing relationships with key clients comes natural to you and you have strong communication and interpersonal abilities. We also believe that you have the ambition to grow with the team into greater responsibilities.
