The Global Sustainability department at H&M Group is looking for a new Head of Social Impact!
In the role as Head of Social Impact, you will have the opportunity to excel H&M Group’s long-term ambitions for positive social impact across our value chain. You will lead a Community of Expertise, including a small team of direct-reports and a wide network of competence throughout the H&M Group. Your team will work to integrate, challenge, and support the ambitious social agenda within the H&M Group.
Your responsibility will include the following:
Catalyze Progress, Enhance Direction & Empower our Organization
Catalyze our progress by activating the full organization including functions and brands to lead and improve the social well-being of communities touched through our value chain
Enable all functions and brands in the work towards the group’s strategic priorities and ambitions taking us to a leadership position for industrial development and customer attraction. In addition, identify and activate synergies, efficiency and overall performance
Empower the organization to take ownership of the social impact to assess, improve and progress and facilitate the internal integration journey
Establish a Top Performing Team and Efficient Networks
Manage & develop network and direct team by proactively identifying opportunities and needs to secure impact over time
Reinforce the H&M Group cultural mindset in your leadership
Enable a high-performing team by creating an attractive and sound workplace
Build Partnerships and Engagement
Establish external partnerships, creating a powerful eco-system for mutual learning and effective collaboration
Together with your team, contribute to internal and external communication and reporting
Be a spokesperson to media and contribute to raised awareness among customers, staff and other important stakeholders
We are looking for you who:
Have a minimum of five years’ experience from a leadership role within social sustainability
Have a proven ability to lead and engage with formal teams as well as other collaborative partners internally and externally
Have a strategic mind-set and the ability to navigate towards our overall direction and prioritize within the social agenda
Are able to think creatively and explore new areas within the social sustainability agenda
Have a structured approach, strong problem-solving skills and an ability to prioritize and plan to reach impact
Have the ability to navigate the political landscape in a strategic way and have understanding for different stakeholder perspectives and what it means for the H&M Group
Are a good communicator in a diverse range of settings internally and externally
This is a full-time permanent position at Årstaängsvägen, Stockholm.
