Are you eager to sharpen your competence in a global and complex treasury setting? We’re now searching for a Head of Treasury Control to join us at our headquarters in Stockholm. As part of our exciting world, you get to interact with a large international network and contribute to the future development of Sandvik Group Treasury as an important speaking partner and advisor.
Your new team
Sandvik Group Treasury is overall responsible for supporting our global business in managing all types of financial exposure and transactions – operating as a separate legal entity with its own risk reporting and accounting, conducted by the Treasury Control team. We’re responsible for managing and reporting the Group’s finance net, including the interest net, pension- and bank related fees and valuations of various financial instruments. In addition, we proactively provide forward-looking simulations of financial impacts to support decision making.
Reporting to the Group Treasurer, you mainly lead, coordinate and develop the function by ensuring the right competence in the team and that the whole Treasury function operates in compliance with the Group’s policies and mandates. As a member of Treasury’s management team, you can take a holistic view and bring input to most aspects of the Treasury function’s challenges. When involved in larger projects you drive and secure the Treasury Control team’s contribution.
You have the overall responsibility for monitoring, analyzing and reporting of financial risks in accordance with the already established financial plans and policies – keeping a good overall administrative security, where procedures and tasks are well documented. Naturally, you ensure that reports are correct and presented in a timely manner. You also contribute to the funding of the company by analyzing and valuating the debt instruments and their impact on financial ratios.
We’re looking for a structured leader with at least five years of experience from working in a risk management function, preferably with a background within accounting. As this is a more complex middle office role than others, you have a good understanding of the field and its craftmanship. Your previous roles have given you excellent skills in Excel, along with an appreciation for the varying pace of the job and a solid ability to handle pressure. You hold a degree in business or economics, and as we act in a global setting, you need to be fluent in written and spoken English.
You show the way by confidently taking initiatives, sharing responsibility and being a source of inspiration as you empower your team and motivate your co-workers to follow your lead. You’re a brilliant communicator, always making yourself clear - whether it’s verbally, written or in a PowerPoint presentation. With a passion to win, you’re leaving nothing to chance by taking care of your tasks in an organized and thorough manner.
