Head of Valuations - Sweden

Overview: Our clients' Swedish office was set up in 1997, and offers a full range of commercial property services.

In Sweden they are particularly active in the investment market, transacting around $250mln a year on behalf of buyers and sellers, and in the corporate market, where it provides strategic real estate advice and transactional work for a range of key corporate clients.

The role arises at a critical stage of growth as their Swedish business capitalises on several significant mandates won during 2006, the current team has a privileged reputation amongst clients and the wider real estate market.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

Client Contact & Business Development

Work with Head of Advisory Services to create and implement a co-ordinated Business Development strategy for the Valuations activity in Sweden

Create productive relationships in the Swedish marketplace to enhance a strong work flow.
Help clients to appraise opportunities and undertake formal valuations for loan security and financial reporting purposes.
Negotiating with clients, working with delivery teams. Client/solicitor liaison - confirming brief - presenting final report
. Operational Project and Ad-Hoc work Integral involvement on a project by project basis, execution of valuations from start to finish and detailed property inspections.
Research - gathering comparable evidence - contact with agency/investment, use of pro-formas, occupational advice.
Report writing - Market commentary, Valuation specifics - lease terms, contamination reports. Due Diligence & Financial Analysis - Yields, DCFs, Projections.
Team Management & Organisation Lead a growing Valuation Advisory Services team based in Stockholm. Coaching and developing the team towards a best practice model.

Represent the Company at strategically important meetings/conferences. Become accepted quickly within the Company (and other relevant parties) as a valuable member of the team
Promoting the Valuations team work within the office and with other departments/business units.

Salary: 500k - 750k SEK base + Package
