Net Insight seeks a highly skilled Support Engineer The Support Engineer will be working in our Technical Assistance Center providing post-sales support on Net Insight's multi-service network products.As a Support Engineer you will work in a direct relation with our customers as well as our product development team.You will also, from time to time, participate in the customer implementation projects for the purpose of installation, training, final testing and operational hand-over.Responsibilities include the following: .Provide Technical Assistance on Net Insight's products including SW and HW support . Make in-depth trouble shooting and problem analysis of network related problems.. Assist in installation, training and final network testing for customer roll-outs.. Participate in our on-duty scheme for 24/7 support All applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of successful technical support in the area of TV broadcasters, network operators or network equipment vendors.The role as a Support Engineer also requires the following skill set: . Good communication skills . Excellent network trouble shooting skills in the area of SDH/SONET or IP networks.. Good knowledge in Linux operating systems.. Experience in SNMP based management systems..Previous experience in media transmission using ASI, SDI, HD-SDI and AES/EBU or experience of MPEG encoders/decoders is advantageous.As a Support Engineer you will be placed at Net Insight's head quarter in Stockholm and work with our customers worldwide.Applicants should therefore be available for traveling and skills in other languages than English and Swedish is a bonus.. .
