Swedish family living 25 minutes north of Stockholm is looking for a nanny/maid to take care of their four children and their home.
Their three older children aged 7, 12 & 13 reside in the home every other week whilst the youngest whom is two years old resides in the home permanently.
They are looking for a nanny/maid with life experience and a natural ability to take care of children. The candidate need not be a trained educator, but the family is seeking someone who genuinely enjoys taking care of children, someone who is warm, communicative, responsible, flexible, can take initiative and has an eye for what needs to get done in the home.

As a large part of the job will consist of grocery shopping and preparing meals for the whole family, they are looking for someone who is interested in and reasonably knowledgeable when it comes to cooking, everything from breakfast to dinner with an emphasis on variety. The right candidate will have no issue with cleaning up after meals, doing the dishes and so forth.
The role also consists of being responsible for the household and making sure that things run smoothly around the house, everything is in its place and kept tidy & neat, the laundry is taken care of and some light cleaning.
As for your duties regarding the children, these will include and not be limited to dropping them off / picking them up from school/daycare, taking care of them after school/daycare, driving them to their activities, helping them pack their bags for those activities, making sure their closets are updated with basic garments. Other duties regarding the children may arise and taking care of them on certain Saturday evenings will also be required.

In addition to the above-named duties, the family will occasionally ask for help with other chores such as setting the table for a dinner at home with friends or replanting flowers, etc.

The family speaks Swedish but would prefer the candidate to have another mother tongue and communicate with them in English.

A fully furnished 70-80 sqm apartment located on the family property will be made available to you at no cost as well as access to one of the family’s cars.
A driver’s license is a requirement.

You will be employed directly by the family. This is a full-time job. Salary will be agreed upon with the chosen candidate and will depend on the candidate’s qualifications.
Starting from 24,000 SEK / month.
