HR-Generalist at Essity in Falkenberg
We are looking for an HR-Generalist to our plant in Falkenberg.
Have you been working with HR for a number of years and are ready for the next step? Falkenberg Plant, with approx. 400 employees, is characterized by a modern organization and advanced technology machine lines. Development of new technology and product upgrades and improvements are a continuous process, and most of our product assortment is “fast moving consumer goods”. In Falkenberg plant, baby diapers and incontinence products are manufactured, primarily for Nordic and central/eastern Europe.
The HR team consists of one HR-manager and two HR-Generalists and is part of the country Nordic & Baltic HR-organization. Essity is truly promoting talents internally and your predecessor is now leaving for new challenges at the head office in Mölndal.
Location is Falkenberg and you will report to HR Manager on the site.
What you will do
As an HR-Generalist at Essity you will work close to the business delivering support to managers in a diverse range of tasks within the whole HR area. There will as always be recruitment, rehabilitation and consultations and collaboration with the unions (above all the blue-collar unions). You will also be part of leadership development, local Employer Branding activities and focus on the psychosocial work environment, etc. As our HR-Generalist you deliver on the strategic aspects as well as the operational/administrative aspects of it all and feel comfortable with both.
Who are you
Bachelor’s degree in Humane Resources Management or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an operational HR role
Preferrable HR experience from industry / blue collar unions
Experience of IF Metall or Pappers collective agreement is an advantage
Fluent in Swedish and English – written and spoken is a must

Furthermore, it’s important that you like being close to the day-to-day business and have the ability to work independently in a busy environment. You are well-structured and act with integrity and professionalism. You build and maintain strong business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Experience from working in a matrix organization will help you understand the complexity of Essity. A positive and flexible attitude is also important since HR within Essity is seen as a facilitator to change.
