The Opportunity:

We are now looking to recruit a talented HR Generalist to come and join our team at Cummins Distribution Unit in Marsta, Sweden.

Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

* Support human resources activities within an organizational unit or department.
* Partner with managers and employees to act as a point of contact and advisor for operational HR matters on site.
* Comply and analyse human resources process metrics, analyse results and recommends improvements.
* Assist in resolution of conflicts and provides coaching and counselling on employment matters; conducts and documents investigations.
* Participate in performance management activities including employee development planning.
* Provide staffing and recruiting support; conducts work force data analysis.
* Facilitate compensation process and benefits administration by partnering with shared services and corporate human resources; develop and implements workforce compensation recommendations.
* Assist in managing administration of and adherence to human resources policies and procedures; advise on compliance with key legislative requirements.
* Coordinate training needs assessment and participate in training activities and special projects.
* Create employment contracts as required by local law or practice.
* Ensure accuracy and completeness of workforce information in human resource information systems.

Qualifications:

Skills and experience required:
* Generalist HR expertise gained in an international environment.
* Understand the impact of employee relations on employee effectiveness. Able to implement programs and tools that influence a positive organizational culture.
* Experience and general knowledge of various benefit programs. A resource for employee questions regarding benefit programs.
* Possess a basic knowledge of pay systems, merit pay structure, and variable pay compensation structures.
* Experience in professionally conducting investigatory interviews, documenting the process, findings and conclusions, analysing and interpreting data and making recommendations for a solution.
* Good understanding of employment laws that frequently impact the workplace and experience in making appropriate decisions in consultation with an expert in the field.
* Good understanding of organizational values and goals, translate them into performance standards and apply and lead others through this process.
* Possess a good understanding of laws and practices affecting the relationship between labour and management.
* Fluency in English and Norwegian and/or Swedish.
* Able to effectively and clearly communicate in both written and verbal means.
* Passionate about providing excellent internal customer service.
* Ability to challenge current processes and develop / implement process improvements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

* College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required.
