ABOUT US AND THE TASK:
The rise of the sharing economy, urbanization, a growing concern for the environment, and rapid advancements in technology have all spurred the question: Is there a better way to get around? This has triggered companies and cities to develop technologies and services that offer more convenient, efficient, and flexible ways of travel. Now that people have the choice, car-sharing is exploding in the number of users globally. From only 350.000 in 2006, car sharing users is expected to well exceed 23 million in 2024.

This is why Volvo Cars has decided to start a new global car-sharing venture, stand-alone under the ownership of Volvo Car Corporation. With a human-centric approach, we want the behaviours, needs, and lives of people to shape the future of mobility services, as well as the development of vehicles, cities, and societies. Our vision is to enable more people to move: freely, meaningfully, and sustainably.

THE POSITION
We are seeking a committed and passionate HR manager who thrives from the challenge to start up something new where you need to be creative and find solutions when processes are not in place. An essential element for our success is to have a well laid out HR strategy. The company is going through constant change; therefore, Change Management will be a focus area. This role requires flexible HR ninja skills, the ability to think strategically and execute tactically and operationally. This role also requires a strong sense of humor - we like to have fun while we are making history!

Main tasks:
* Create a people strategy and implement it
* Translate business needs/improvement areas into HR requirements and actions.
* Drive business transformation, primarily focus on HR strategic activities influencing the business agenda, and act as change agent to support and challenge management in the roll out of new initiatives.
* Identify the organizational capabilities required to execute the business strategy.
* Proactively develop, support and monitor actions linked to improved organizational health and increased performance.

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven ability to diagnose issues, drawing on both professional experience and strategic thinking skills, and drive appropriate solutions with self-initiative
* Strong business acumen
* Competence in organization development/effectiveness (including organization design, change leadership, cultivating culture, leadership effectiveness, and talent management)  
* Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document preparation and presentation skills
* Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach managers
* Ability to work independently, as well as an active member of the business team
* Experience working with global teams and driving organizational change initiatives.
* Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and sense of humor
* Ability to mix focus between strategic tasks and administrative tasks
* University degree in HR Management or similar
