At our AkzoNobel Adhesives site in Årsta, we develop wood adhesives and resin systems for industrial use. We are now looking for an HSE & Facility Specialist who will have the combined role of overseeing the facility specific area and lead the relationships towards the property owner and other external parties, such as the contracted facility management provider.

On the HSE side, Health & Safety will be your responsibility where you will lead and coordinate the site´s HSE agenda. Such areas could be to follow up and implement new directives or regulation from either AkzoNobel or authorities. You also assure that the site and all its facilities have proper signage and instructions related to HSE.

Other duties and responsibilities will be to:
• Coordinate Site related matters and decisions as well manage the communication of matters of Site interest or importance
• Manage the Site SharePoint and the communication screen
• Drive cost improvements for Site related spend by ensuring optimal use of resources and proper specification of service contracts
• Responsible for Incident reporting management, keeping up to date with in- and external rules of reporting, manage all reportable incidents and investigation, such as 5 WHY and HSE alerts
• Responsible for Site related improvement actions
• Responsible according to AkzoNobel´s Policy statement on Health, Safety, Environment, Security and the Responsible Care Program

Qualifications
You should hold a relevant degree from a post-secondary education and with a couple of years of relevant work experience within either facility management or within Health & Safety. Knowledge of relevant Swedish legislation within the area of HSE is a great advantage.

Personal skills to be successful in this position is to have a High sense of security thinking. You need to be structured and able to cope with a variety of tasks at the same time. You like processes and to follow up on these in reporting, in safety committee meetings and in updating relevant documents.

You have a service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in the Swedish and English language.
