For our customer we are looking for a:

GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION
IT is responsible for providing a stable and reliable test environment deliveries for the entire RnD units. You have a broad knowledge within telecom, ICT and network solutions. You enjoy working with people from different cultures and across various disciplines. You are innovative, self-motivated, and accountable and result oriented with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge. You are a team player but you can also work individually. Previous assignments have also shown that you can run simultaneous assignments and tasks. The variety of work tasks and being in the frontline of development gives you a unique opportunity to work in a complete e2e ICT environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Services Engineer provides technical service and support to existing and new services delivered by IT, which includes:

? Creation of cost effective solutions by developing, planning, implementing the solution and supporting the other Service Delivery sub-processes (e.g. requirement handling, preparation & setup).
? Continuous development of already existing solutions from a technical, functional and business point of view.
? Ensure quality and cost efficient Solutions by reviewing Solutions developed by others.
? Initiate, drive and manage knowledge sharing and innovations within the area of the responsibility of the role.
? Build efficiency and effectiveness around solution related activities through sharing knowledge related to solution planning activities and other relevant areas across the IT organization.
? Contribute to continuous improvement of the organization through actively driving or participating in improvement initiatives.

KEY TECHNICAL COMPETENCE:
Primary
? LINUX Server Skills (WindRiver, Ubuntu, SLES, RHEL etc.) on HP and DELL
? IP Networking skills, IPv4 and IPv6
? JUNOS(Juniper), Cisco ACS and EXOS(Extreme)
? NFS/AD/LDAP and L1, 2 and 3 switching configuration
? Cloud computing and VMware ESX/ESXi and vSphere
? NAGIOS

Secondary
? Storage competence (e.g. EMC, DELL, NEC)
? Knowledge on Ericsson EBS/CBA HW
? Knowledge about Virtualization, preferably OpenStack and KVM hypervisor
? UNIX server skills on Sun Solaris HW
? CRON management

? Bachelor degree of Engineering
? Good technical background and interest
