(Web Applications System Administrator)

Responsibilities
Maintenance and System Administration of various Windows based web systems.

Key Tasks
Maintenance of Windows based application environment and related components. This includes the monitoring of system components and ensuring continued availability and performance through good housekeeping of the systems.
Diagnosis and resolution of incidents and problems that are raised by the user community, other ICT staff or by own observation according to SLA service levels
Planning and implementing of installations. This includes new functionality that has been developed, new or changed system components or patches.

Essential Requirements
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Excellent knowledge and experience with Windows 2000/2003 server system administration (MCSE preferred), MS SQL system administration, IIS (or other webservers) and Tridion (preferred). Also knowledge and experience with Linux Redhat, Apache Tomcat and MySQL is appreciated.
Good Communication skills.
Good English written and verbal
A good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling assignments / tasks (Peregrine)
Good understanding of current ICT platforms and development capability.
Good understanding of Company's business & user needs; company goals and objectives
Displays the ability to work in a co-operative, pro-active and flexible way with customers & ICT colleagues at all levels of seniority
