IFM test responsible - Stavanger

UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry.Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas.Through UCG Recruitment we also help customers recruit personnel in the same areas.We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.For our customer we are looking for a test responsible.YYYY is a programme within the production optimization domain that will realize a strategy within production optimisation and contribute to increased oil and gas production.One of the projects within the programme is IFM Implementation.The IFM Implementation project will configure, test, install and roll-out the IFM application to the various assets to enable them contribute to an increase of oil/gas production in the customer by an efficient update and use of production models, and improved use of real time data.The Integrated Field Management system (IFM) is integrated with Petroleum Expert's Integrated Production Modelling suite, ie.GAP, PROSPER, MBAL, PVTP, REVEAL and RESOLVE.These applications allow the engineer to design complete field models, models which include the reservoir tanks, all wells and the surface gathering system.It can model and optimise the production and the water or gas injection system simultaneously.The project is already started.We now seek a Test Responsible for the IFM Implementation project.The test responsible role is responsible for test planning and the test effort's success.The role involves quality and test advocacy, resource planning, and resolution of issues that impede the test effort.Responsibilities and tasks: .Test planning including writing and deliver the test plan document(s) .Test execution including follow-up of testers .Test assessment including writing and deliver the test report(s) .Ensure that the test effort is aligned with the programs test strategy .Responsible for handling of the test tool .Support creation and writing of user documentation Other: Some travels can be expected.Desired skills: .Experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools .General knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process .Planning and management skills .Knowledge of the oil production technology domain and experienced with production systems .Previous experience in programming Personal qualifications: .is good at cooperating with others and contributing to a good team spirit .has good written and oral communication skills .is full of initiativ .is eager to tackle new and unknown issues .has well organised and structured working methods Location: Stavanger Work load: 100 % To achieve a more even gender distribution among our consultants we are positive to female applicants.We would like applicants to submit a detailed CV in Word-format.In this ad we are primarily looking for employees, but we also invite persons operating their own companies to apply.We decline approaches from recruiters and other sales persons.
