As the Muslim community in Uppsala and surrounding areas has grown in recent years, it has added to the demand for adequate facilities and services in the area.In order to meet these demands we have a full-time vacancy for an Imam.If you are interested please send your CV and a covering letter.

IMAM and Teacher
Main duties are to lead the five times daily prayers, lead Jumah prayer and give the Khutbah.You will also lead Eid and Taraweeh Prayers.You will organise and lead annual Muslim Holy days and provide funeral services.You vill also set curriculum for Islamic studies programs for all ages.

Requirements
Applicants must be a MUFTI/ALIM.You must be a Hafiz of the Quran and should have sufficient knowledge in the Hadith of the Prophet (SA).You must have 2-3 years of teaching experience from some recognised Madrasa.

You must be fluent in Arabic and Bengali and some knowledge in English is preferable.

You need to be dynamic, enthusiastic and energetic.

Desirable requirements
Applicants have experience in the work of Tablig and have spent at least one year in Khoroz -fi -sabilillah.
