The concepts shall than be evaluated and compared to choose the best one for our next products (engines) in order to meet our customers’ expectations on quality, performance, fuel consumption and to comply with the emission legislation.
We are working in the development process from advanced engineering to the concept definition. Other areas for our team is the interaction with the electrical drivelines.
The knowledge build up in the internal combustion area and development of improved work methods is also a part of the work.
You will be a main contributor and guide the team/organization technical in this development. We work together in close cooperation with a network consisting of our team, the Powertrain Strategy Development (AE) combustion team, colleagues within the powertrain development (design, simulation, software functions and EATS) and external contacts such as universities and consultancy companies.
We strive to have an open and honest environment within the team/-s, where it is easy to ask each other for support when needed. The tasks can be either part of a larger long term project or short tasks to improve products currently in production.

Master of Science or similar technical education is preferred
Education and/or experience of engine, particularly in the field of combustion, and exhaust aftertreatment is welcome
Fluent in English, written and spoken
License for truck (C/CE) is a merit but not a demand
