LensLogistics is looking for an Inbound Logistics Manager Key Responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of the inbound logistics process.This includes supervising and being an active part of supply planning, supply order placement, receiving and inventory management.You are expected to forecast and set targets for inventory value and inbound logistics budget and ensure that the key targets of the supply process are fulfilled at the optimal cost, time and quality. You will work closely with: .The sales and marketing team to ensure optimal forecasting, inventory levels and prevent slow moving stock..The sourcing team and selected suppliers to build supply improvement programs..Other departments within the company to make sure they get the information needed from the supply process or the supplier sites. You will be responsible for the strategic long term development of the inbound logistics department and manage as well as develop the teams working with goods receiving, supply planning and administration. Professional skill requirements You have a relevant university degree, preferably within purchasing, supply planning or logistics and a minimum of 2-4 years working experience from the supply chain management area.You have knowledge of forecasting and business systems, preferentially Oracle e-business suite.Good working knowledge in Swedish as well as English is a requirement.Good computer and MS Office skills are also essential.
