Industrial Cleaning Technician

We are approaching the start of production at the end of the year, and as an Industrial Cleaning Technician you will have an important role in the organisation when you are enabling a clean and safe working environment thoughout the organisation.

As an Industrial Cleaning Technician, the days are filled with variety and problem solving as you work close to production and their cleaning needs. Since manufacturing of battery cells requires a high level of cleaningness of the manufacturing environment, this is therefore your highest priority. But we also want you to play an important role in developing our quality and effiency of cleaning.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performs cleaning tasks in the controlled environments (Clean-rooms, Dry-rooms etc)

Performs cleaning tasks in the general facility, warehouse and production areas

-
Assists with the distribution and handling of PPE and clothing

-
Basic waste handling

-
Reports deviations on cleaning or the general state of the cleanliness of the factory to the the cleanroom manager

Co-drives 5S within the process areas/general factory areas

-
Follows all currently implemented work instructions (WI) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) regarding cleaning of controlled and normal environments, material handling, waste handling, PPE use.

Uses and performs basic maintenance of equipment like drivable cleaning machines, portable scrubbing machines, vacuum cleaners etc

Understands and acts according to the Clean-and dryroom training

Communicates the objectives status and deviations to the Shift leader

Qualifications/education/experience

-
High school education or higher

-
Fluency in English, written and oral – Good communicational skills

-
Elementary computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)

-
Able to perform manual labor in physically demanding environments (clean and dry-rooms), work heights, wearing PPE etc


Specific characteristics (preferable but not required)

-
Previous experience from clean or dry-room and process industry

-
Experience with use and light maintenance of cleaning equipment

-
Forklift and scissor lift certification and experience

-
Certification for work in heights, handling chemicals and ATEX environments

-
Competence in Safe operations within the area and safety procedures

Experience on the safety requirements when handling chemicals and machinery

-
Fluency in other languages, including Swedish

Problem solving

Preventive maintenance experience
