Information Repository Responsible

The Tooling IT department (TIS) is a Competence Center for Common Tooling Information Model Support.Other examples are Tooling Business to Business, Tooling Information Warehouse and Tooling CAPP Coordination.Sandvik Tooling has adopted the process-centric view of the operations of the enterprise.This means that the primary focus is on the processes - the chain of events and flow of information and material -rather than on the different departments and organizational units that actually carry out the operations.A number of processes have been identified and process owners (and other related roles) have been defined.The agreed principle is that the process owner is responsible for their process, which includes any documentation and descriptions regarding it.Tooling IT, dept.TIS, however, is responsible for ensuring that the different process documentation maps are consistent, as well as for archiving and publishing them.To ensure such, we are looking for an Information Repository Responsible.Key performance areas In this position you will act as a central competence for the use of the ARIS tool being responsible for the access rights, administration and security of the repository.Your main tasks are also to: - Act as quality assurance and to approve new or changed models.- Ensure that process and information object models are consistent.- Organize training in modeling and use of the models.- Maintain the Tooling templates and filters used for creating models.- Create new project databases and ensure that these are based on currently approved conventions.Your profile As our ideal candidate you have good knowledge and high level of interest in process and information modeling.You are able to see a comprehensive view of relations between processes and contribute to further development and maintenance of them.Experiences from ARIS (or similar tools) is an advantage.As a person you are attentive and precise and highly organized and structured in your way of working.You are persistent and have a pedagogical and inquisitive attitude.
