About the role

We are looking for an IT minded person with an information security focus to strengthen our team of dedicated IT specialists. You will be responsible for preventing unauthorised access to our data and responding to privacy breaches. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure is well-protected and that our compliance framework is up to speed. We are growing and you will play a leading role in shaping our company to make sure that our clients get to feel safe and well protected.

What you’ll be doing

Drive and execute a security roadmap and strategy to support Quinyx main objectives;

Analyse existing security systems and make recommendations for changes or improvements;

Make changes and upgrades to our compliance framework;

Administering, monitoring, and revoking systems access;

Handle information security requests from our clients;

Be on the frontline for incident response together with the stakeholders of many different departments within Quinyx;

Upgrade systems regularly to remain competitive in the field of information security;

Design and implement safety measures and data recovery plans;

Serve as a security expert and conduct trainings when needed for our staff and clients. Also hold workshops and briefings for all of our employees such as executives, board and stakeholders on cyber risks;

Draft internal policies and guidelines and make sure they are known in the organisation.

What you’ll bring to the team

Performed in a similar role for a period of time that makes us feel safe in your ability;

Familiarity with security frameworks and risk management methodologies;

An analytical mind with an excellent problem-solving ability;

Outstanding communication and organisation skills;

Decision-making skills;

Experience working with large-scale cloud-based environments - AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or the like;

Experience working with compliance frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC2 and GDPR.

WOW-factor

Programming skills are preferred but not necessary;

BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field;

Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP).
