Infotainment/Telematic engineer

We are looking for Electronic or mechatronic engineers with minimum 5 years’ experience from automotive industry and system design on a function level, used to work in a requirement based environment with a wide knowledge about functions on a vehicle level. Used to design platforms and electrical architecture from attribute and function requirements, knowledge both from SW and HW perspective.


You need to be familiar with ISO 26262, system safety, FMEA, PHA, FSC, TSC and more.


Good written and spoken English, Swedish is a bonus.


Previous experience from Volvo Cars is very positive.


Tools: SystemWeaver, TeamCenter and NX (for CAD design only).


Domain: Infotainment/Telematics engineer: Background: Function development. Domain knowledge.
 Collect Input requirements o Attribute, legal and feature requirement.
 Create FDR (Function Description & Requirement) based on input requirements and function requirements.
 Write Function Realization requirements and communicate these to correct subsystems.
 Secure (implementation and testing) hand shake of requirements towards different sub systems.
 Follow up function related software issues, make sure they are solved.
 Plan test object need.
 (System safety - Responsible for hazard analysis and Functional safety concept). Background: System development. Domain knowledge.
 Responsible for the design of the defined system.
 Receiver of FR (Function Realization) requirements and creating software requirements.
 Responsible for the software requirements in the SWRS (Software Requirement Specification) Application and SWRS Basetech and Diagnostic carcom.
 Communicate and agree the requirements with the supplier.
 Align committed requirement in SWRT (Software Requirement Traceability matrix) and follow up implementation status at software delivery.
 Manage SDB (Signal Data Base) changes affecting the software.
 (Perform related system safety work like TSC (Technical Safety Concept)).
