Infrastructure Developer

Kambi Group plc is a leading B2B provider of premium sports betting services to licensed gaming operators. Our services provide an end-to-end solution for operators wanting to launch a standalone Sportsbook or bolster their existing offering with an innovative sports betting product. From front-end user interface to customer intelligence, risk management and odds compiling, all built on our in-house developed software, we strive to deliver the ultimate service and solution to our partners.

Kambi IT Operations consists of more than 65 people working to ensure that Kambi’s business can deliver twenty-four seven, year round. We're dedicated to agile operations, believe dev-ops and automation is a great way of achieving that and use agile methodologies to support our efforts along the road.

The Infrastructure team automates and abstracts the complexity of modern infrastructure to provide scalable, secure and highly available platforms to support the business needs and growth. We now want to strengthen our team with an Infrastructure Developer that sees code where others see traditional infrastructure and work from the ground-up principle to automate everything.

As a part of the team, consisting of 5 members responsible for Kambi’s infrastructure on a global level, there will be plenty of problem solving and room to learn. We think that you are already a generalist or a specialist who would like to broaden your skills.

This is what you will do:

• Build and maintain on-prem infrastructure as well as cloud production systems around the globe
• Work with a wide variety of technologies
• Work to deliver reliable, scalable and highly available systems.
• Be operationally responsible for our infrastructure, including taking part in 3rd line stand-by rotation.

• Opensource ftw
• Ubuntu, OpenBSD, Cumulus
• Networking (dynamic routing, datacenter switching, site-to-site VPNs, and security)
• Automation (Puppet, Ansible)
• Load balancers (nginx)
• System monitoring and alerting
• Globally hosted servers and network equipment
• Virtualization ( KVM )
• Cloud Computing (Openstack, AWS, Kubernetes)

We would like for you to tick a few of these boxes:

• Background in Linux and/or Networking
• Experience with infrastructure automation
• Experience working with transaction heavy systems
• Experience with deep diving into Linux systems
• Experience with load balancing, routing, firewalls, VPNs
• Have the mind-set and skills to become an effective part of a cross-function, self-organizing, self-managing team
• Be technically brilliant (or getting there)
