Infrastructure Engineer

We need a magical, methodical Infrastructure Engineer like you yesterday in our UK, Hungary, Malta or Sweden office. *

For you, this is more than a master-of-the-universe role as our network infrastructure expert and key advisor working with our IT Team. This is a unique opportunity to help take our growing global brand to the next level of excellence.



Main responsibilities:

Provide 3rd-level support and help guide the Internal IT team

Internal Network and firewall administrator

Infrastructure/network Maintenance: Ensure system and software maintenance of patches and upgrades are conducted on a regular basis to provide a stable and supportable operation

Capacity Planning: Manage capacity and resources planning, identify opportunities to minimize growth and requirements while forecasting that appropriate resources are provisioned to meet business demands

Backups: Ensures all resources have adequate backup and recovery procedures in place to recover from any loss of data

Responsible for documentation, knowledge transfer and information sharing

Keep abreast of technology trends and developments

Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully

Maintain License, contract renewals and point of contact for related vendors

Cost management

Secondary Responsibilities:

Security: Secures accounts, systems and services by implementing appropriate controls and access limits, supports regulatory and audit needs

Test and evaluate new technology

Develop and analyse functional specifications

Design efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs

Initiates and implements technical improvements in all areas of our infrastructure

Requirements:

Proven experience as an IT engineer in a relevant field, IT Consultant or similar

Proven experience with AWS and Azure

Check Point Certified Admin (CCSA) or above

Excellent communication skills

Analytical mindset

Problem-solving aptitude

Preferences:

Experienced in Microsoft 365 services

Understanding of business practices

Proficient with MAC and PC

AWS Solutions Architect Associate or equivalent experience

Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent experience

Covid-19 Update: Many of us are working from home during this pandemic but interviewing and hiring are still urgent for us. We’re growing. Our Infrastructure Engineer will need to be able to work on-site in either England, Sweden, Malta or Hungary. There is also flexibility to work remotely on a regular basis.
