IT Infrastructure, ITI, a unit within Volvo Cars IT, is responsible to lead, develop and deliver to Volvo Cars a range of IT infrastructure services, in the areas of data centre, networks, servers and clients, databases, communication middleware and voice services.

Infrastructure Coordinator is a role within VC IT ITI. The daily works consist of to coordinate all infrastructural related parts in an IT-project. The Infrastructure Coordinator can also take the role as project manager in an Infrastructure IT-project.

The new team member's responsibilities are:

Be ITI s representative and be the customer's representative towards ITI regarding infrastructural issues.
Coordinate orders relating to infrastructure.
Be responsible to create timetable/s for infrastructural issues.
Follow-up and reporting to customer regarding infrastructural issues.
Organize collaboration/communication between customer and all involved parties within infrastructure.
Estimate cost regarding infrastructural services.

We are looking for a person with at least 5 years experience in IT, preferably in the IT-infrastructural area. In addition, the following qualifications are required:

Good communication skills.
Ability to take own initiatives and develop the role.
Flexible and positive mindset and a personality that makes it easy to communicate and establish contacts.
Sound judgement and high level of service orientation.
General knowledge of large infrastructure environments.
General knowledge of platforms like UNIX, Linux, Mainframe, Windows, etc.
General knowledge of standard processes like ITIL.
University degree or similar.
Be fluent in written and spoken English
