Se vidare nedan: Job description As Deputy Technical Manager for Local Connectivity you will be delegated responsibility for the majority of activities concerning activities within this section. The section consists of 25 persons of which 14 are hired consultants. Tasks include both people leadership and organizational leadership. You will be responsible for information spreading as well as coaching personnel, designers and object leaders and following up on their goals. In addition, as module owner you are one review instance for development plans presented by the Object Leaders in the section before milestone passages. You will work with prioritizing project requests versus resource budgets by allocation and prioritization between different release programs. You are one speaking partner for your area and an escalation point for sub-project managers. You will be part of the Datacom management team cooperating with peer section managers and the Datacom sub-project managers. You will report to the technical manager, who will be acting department manager during this period. Unit info The unit is the competence centre for driver and protocol software in the area of Local Connectivity. The section covers the competence areas of Bluetooth, IrDA, Logical and Physical drivers as well as looking in to new technologies and features related to local connectivity not yet available in the mobile platform. The main task of the team is to deliver software modules to the different platform projects. In the area of Bluetooth we are following the ever evolving specification development and additions to protocol and profiles. In other more mature areas such as IrDA and OBEX we continue to improve, adapt and verify functionality to new hardware platforms. Other areas related to Local Connectivity are being studied for future inclusion in our software platform offer. Mentioning a couple; NFC, Wibree and Ultra Wide Band. Required competence You should have a M.Sc. or similar qualifications and worked as manager or project leader with responsibility for personnel. You have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. In addition you have long experience from SW development according to SW Processes. Wanted competence Experience from EMP. Knowledge from development of embedded systems, datacom protocols or technologies such as Bluetooth, IrDA or Driver Software. Även uppdragstagare med egen firma är intressanta.
