As an Inner Source Leader, in the Test & Inner Source Management unit within PDU Traffic Control, you spearhead and inspire change to introduce inner source practice across organisations to increase source code sharing and quality of the code, shorten projects’ time to market and drive innovation through collaboration in-between teams. This initiative includes outreach and community building across the company, helping to define the onboarding processes, working with teams to onboard, defining success metrics, and tracking progress on metrics.

We are seeking an experienced leader with a strong development background, who will develop and ensure standard methodology for Inner Source across several organisations and projects.

What you will do
You will work closely with all units in the PDU, as well as other organisations, to define and drive inner source strategic direction, deployment, and continuous improvement together with a collaborative, diverse, high-performance team. A few key focus areas listed below

Inner Source Strategy coordination
Work across the organizations to promote the use of Inner Source and help remove any barriers to adoption
Drive consistency and standard methodology for inner source across teams, organizations, and programs
Analyze success of the inner source programs based on relevant metrics


You will bring
Demonstrated technical understanding and ability to convert into strategy statements
Strong product development background and understanding of test
Good understanding of open source and how to drive successful projects with excellent collaboration and openness
In-depth understanding of the technology and solutions concepts related to a modern ecosystem in area of cloud computing (cloud architecture, micro services, automation) and related practices (DevOps, CI/CD).
Understanding of the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working
Leading and/or architecting experience on software development projects.
