YOUR FUTURE TEAM?

As of today, the Sales Engineering & Training team in Nordics is formed by 8 driven and knowledgeable Sales Engineers and Technical Trainers across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. The team reports to Tommy Strandvall, the Manager of Sales Engineering & Training - Northern Europe. In addition to the Nordics, you will also be working very close to a parallel team based in the United Kingdom and Ireland.



Besides your closest teammates, you will also interact with many sales roles within Northern Europe, especially the Nordics. In addition to sales, you will also work closely with marketing - always ensuring that partners in our region are getting the right attention and are properly covered.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an Inside Sales Engineer, you are responsible for developing Axis business by supporting our partners and end-customers in all technical pre-sales questions, and for transferring technical competence, knowledge, and expertise to our partners. Together with your team, you influence decision-makers both at the beginning of the sales cycle and throughout the latter parts of the sales cycle. The overall goal is to build credibility and develop a relationship as a trusted advisor.



Within this particular role, one of your main responsibilities will also be to work closely with the Nordic Sales team. Here, you will transfer technical competence, knowledge, and expertise to them, and prepare them for potential technical questions and technological updates and features. Prior to any customer event the Inside Sales Engineer will ensure demonstration equipment is in good working order to facilitate the required demonstrations, ensuring functionality and usability for salespeople.



Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Act as the first point of contact for technical customer inquiries wherever possible
* Internal & external product demonstrations
* Internal and partly external support in technical pre-sales activities
* Support the regional sales organization in technical matters, e.g., in tenders, in customer meetings, and in general technical inquiries
* Together with the Nordic Sales team, make sure to grow our partners' expertise and knowledge
* Act as a brand ambassador for our technology and solutions


This role is office-based in our HQ in Lund. Occasional travel might occur from time to time.

WHO ARE YOU?
We will focus on the personality and who you are, rather than exactly what you know. We would like to see that you are a focused and self-motivated team player with a technical background in IT, Telecom, or Networking/IP. We believe you love collaborating with other functions and people in order to get the job done. Preferably this comes from experience in presales, project-based work within the IT channel, or some kind of education/knowledge in networking, IP-based technologies, and/or applications. We would also like to see that you have some kind of foundation in network infrastructure (TCP/IP).



Apart from this, we believe you have/are:



* Professional in the Swedish & English language, written and spoken
* Experience/education in network configuration and/or general IT
* Some knowledge of Audio/Video protocols & technology
* Some knowledge of HTTP and MQTT integration
* Excellent communication skills in order to develop internal and external relationships
